The City of Milwaukee and its partners launched a sustainable manufacturing program for the City’s small and medium-sized manufacturers. This program – Milwaukee E3 (known as ME3) – is a no-cost program to help manufacturers cut costs while at the same time helping to minimize negative environmental impacts of their manufacturing processes and practices. The ME3 Team includes an array of recognized, local industry experts who have worked with thousands of manufacturers in the state on similar issues: everything from improving energy efficiency, to better natural resource management, to improved logistics and pollution prevention. The ME3 Team draws from direct experience of saving Wisconsin firms money while improving environmental performance.
Interested in applying? At the time RPW/Elite was chosen, ME3 was still looking for companies to add to this program so be sure to check it out.
RPW/Elite was chosen due to its past efforts with WMEP where they were awarded the very first “Sustainability Award” at the national MEP convention and the efforts and awards they achieved in pollution prevention locally. If you would like to hear more about what RPW/Elite is doing, or would like to know how we were chosen, please call Jaime Maliszewski (414-397-2171) to discuss this great program. RPW/Elite has targeted their Gas, Electric and Water use as major areas for improvement and is also going to look into Employee training methods to see if we can gain some advantages in this area as well. As always the RPW/Elite family is continuously looking for ways to improve our services to our customers. We will NEVER stop working for you!
